- The ex-boyfriend of Tara could have left the glove. I know that latex gloves are used by police officers in searching persons and their effects. And why was he riding around with an on duty officer? I think if they just looked closer at Tara''s case it might be easier to solve. I cannot believe that they are accepting the ex boyfriends story. He had made a remark that Tara told him she would commit suicide, I think that would be a red flag, because the person with knowledge of a crime will say deragatory things concerning the victim if they had any involvement.

- And, for another cop thought, what about the business card left in her door? When did the married cop start leaving the two dozen messages on her answering machine, and did she even check them? I know I would. He seemed like he was obsessed with Tara. Tara might have checked his messages and was not returning his calls, or she didn''t get a chance to check her messages because they were left after she dissapeared. Whatever the scenario might be, the married cop might have been waiting for her late Saturday night, or he might have stopped by early Sunday morning. It just doesn''t make any sense that a beautiful woman with a great career would leave her clothes on the floor the following day. She seemed cleaner than that. The married cop might have done something to Tara, and being a good liar like most cops are, he might have planned to leave a bussiness card and leave messages to cover up his crime to make it look like he was trying to contact her, but he couldn''t get her to answer. Just some thought.

- Alright. I might be reading too much into Tara''s case. But, don''t you find it funny that her ex-boyfriend and his cop friend just "drove" around until dawn? This is just a thought, but maybe Tara bugged her ex-boyfriend so much because he didn''t want to be with her, that he just became sickened by it. Cops are slick, and they can get away with almost anything because from the very beginning, it has been put out there that cops sould be completely trusted. Just because somebody is a cop, doesn''t mean they are a good or trustworthy person. Maybe he and his cop friend did do something to Tara. They both have the cop training so, they both know how to cover things up. Cops are very good liars. They are trained to lie so they can get the truth. Tara''s clothes still on the floor after the cook out pretty much says that something happened to her right after or soon after she returned to her house from the cook out. She doesn''t seem like the type of person to just leave her clothes lying on the floor all day Sunday. Maybe her ex-boyfriend was drunk and stopped by and something happened. Maybe the finger print in the glove is his cop friend''s finger print.

- ,it could of happened like this..i got the impression that she was set in her patterns & always ran ontime, exactly minute by minute..but that type of pattern can cost you your life if you''re being stalked.the predator knows your exact moves because he''s watching you for days, weeks or months.she probally walked out her front door every morning on the exact minute and he knew when she was going to open that front door to her unit.once she opened that door,he was waiting & bashed the door into her knocking her down & she had no chance while the co-worker made some loud noise with his equipment.they probally had alot of tarps.they rolled her into a tarp & like morons probally dumped her body in the nearest waste managemet dumpest.her dna will probally not be present, because she was probally wrapped up real good with lots of tape they had on site..the wrapped up tarp will be found at the nearest land fill.there is this technology that from the sky, pictures can be taken of areas like this & possibly detect what their looking for (the body).the complex has to be held accountable for what happened...if she did not have a dead-bolt on the door, the "super" has to be grilled.the contractor has to have names & numbers incase they want to re-use these guys.

- .the head maintance man left the keys hanging on a peg board in the basement where the workers had easy access to the keys.i even think he had a machine on site which made copies of keys..one of these workers got access to her keys thru the work-shop..they have access to all these chemicals which they could have surprise her & put a cloth over her nose until she passed out inside the apartment while she was sleeping or coming out of the shower.they probally waited for morning to enter the unit while she showered for work.probally had a co-worker sounding off a loud drill or jack-hammer so if any noise came from the unit, it would have never been heard; another predator at work...if she did have a dead-bolt & the facility did not have a spare,it could of happened like this..

- & plant it @ the sceen to throw the cops off! it might sound far fetched, but you''re dealing with a predator.this will eat @ you for the rest of your life.do alot of decent people a favor so they can finally rest; confess to somebody for your own good.
as for jennifer, it was the handy-men.from 1989 thru 1995 i lived in a co-op complex & the handymen there gave me the creeps.they also lived @ the facility rent free.they see every move you make.you don''t even know when their watching you.if jennifer didn''t have a dead-bolt installed by an outside contractor, they could have gotten her @ anytime.the head maintance man where i lived at the co-op had keys to every door which i didn''t like.he said incase there was a fire, he''d be able to let the firemen into your co-op not only to save your unit but the others which are attached side by side.i didn''t care what he wanted, i installed a dead bolt plus a chain.these workers watched her leave with her bags to take her trip.the whole time she was gone, they were inside planning their attack for when she came back.this is of course, if she didn''t have her own set of double locks - Reply to this comment
- tara was abducted & probally murdered by that crazy school kid who was smashing on her doors.the kid should have been locked up for that incident & tara should have gotten a restraning order againts him (not that it works all the time).there was no forced entry & her place wasn''t robbed.there was no loud noises that anyone heard of.tara left willingly with the kid due to him tricking her to get into his car.his car should be checked for dna samples of tara & he should be willing to take a lie-detector test.if he does not cooperate with both of these requests, he should be followed 24 by 7 until he cracks.a guy like this usually has a checkered past, so i''d start looking up "all" his old girlfriends & ask them if the kid ever used violence on them & to what extent and what threats did he ever make to them ??? also questions his old friends to see if he ever abused animals.if he was killing animals, it''s that much easier to kill a humane; he just pictures her as his prey.....and finally about that glove, he planted it there purposely.it was right out in the open, not even hidden in any grass (none was growing on front lawn).he plans this whole thing & pulls it off, yet he drops a latex glove; come on ??? why did anyone need a latex glove, there was no forced entry...this kid is very slick & sick..what he also did was have a friend (with a squeaky-clean record)do some work at to throw the cops off! it might sound far

- Jennifer Kesse Case -
1) The dog lead the investigator back to her condo complex. The construction workers could have easily done a number of things to hide her body in the complex. They had access to tools, building plans ect. I hope the investigators can search for clues in the units the construction workers were staying. Look in the walls and in the floors.
2) The shoes of the person in the video looked unusual. Is there any way there can be a close up of the shoes for clues!!
I hope this case is solved quickly - Reply to this comment
- Saddened by the disappearances.
Has anyone looked more into Jennifer''s best friend? And feel that Tara''s boyfriend had something more to do with it.
Thank-you. - Reply to this comment

Well, if you keep calling somebody beautiful, that''s what they become. - Reply to this comment
- Dear bahntudada, I was speaking to bone structure, for the most part, not any superficial traits such as hair color orrelative age...

- Referring to them as "beauties" is arbitrary and misleading. I see them as plane Janes.

- Dear Patposting: Jennifer is a 24-year-old blonde with "girl next door" prettiness. Tara is a 30-year-old brunette, tall and busty, and a beauty contest winner. Two peas in a pod? Hardly. 48 Hours Mystery had probably a hundred photos to choose from; I suspect they picked the two photos shown above because, in these photos, the victims DO have a resemblance (oval face shape, straight hair). Sorry, but these unfortunate disappearances are not connected.

- Very good show; I do hope that it helps. In the case of the missing blonde girl; it was mentioned that she was worried about her surroundings. Was she always like that or after she moved into that new condo?
As far as the ex beauty queen, they mentioned that a married cop was coming to visit her. Had this been going on for a while? Were they just friends, an affair?
I hope that the families can get some closure soon. I don''t envy what they are going thru. - Reply to this comment
- In the 2 photos, Tara Grinstead and Jennifer Kesse have strong facial resemblances - strong chins, prominent zygomatic bones (cheekbones), prominent teeth while smiling, high foreheads. They look especially similar from their noses down. It''s just an observation, but could their facial characteristics have anythig to do with why they were singled out - if the same person or persons are involved in both their disappearances?

- 1) These are both interesting cases, but there''s no compelling reason to believe that they are linked in any way.
2) The suggestion that these young women have been sold into "white slavery" is ridiculous; both pimps and customers prefer drugged up 15-year-old runaways--not competent, adult women.
3) It appears that Jennifer Kesse was abducted on Tuesday, January 24th around 7 or 8am. The video of her car being dropped off appears to be taken at 1pm that afternoon--5 or 6 hours later. The Orlando police learn the location of the vehicle about 48 hours later and a tracker dog follows the driver''s scent back 1 mile to Jennifer''s complex! So what''s so
*** difficult about sealing off the complex, gathering up all workers and their supervisors, and asking who missed work on Tuesday morning? - Reply to this comment
- I work in the area where Jennifer disappeared from and it is not a good area at all. I have to agree with poster francescabos in that the workers were not looked into at all it seems. First of all, how much easier could it get for one of the painters to watch Jennifer''s (or any other female tenant) every move? If they are painting at the complex and living there they can easily watch her every move: what time she leaves in the morning, what time she returns, and what pattern she follows as she goes on with her normal activites. I think the person in the surveillance video matches that of a painter or worker. He has the clothes to match and it is just too convenient for one of the workers to have taken Jennifer. I also believe that if the car was found not too far away from where she lives, maybe he is keeping her somewhere nearby or if she is dead he may have put her body nearby also. I think more focus should be put on the painters and workers and just because they lived at the complex while they worked is no excuse to say it is too hard to look into that possibility. Their full contact information should be on record since they were occupying the apartments and the company they worked for should also have full employee records. No matter how long or difficult it is THIS SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO!!!!!

- I''ve been following Tara''s disappearance from the beginning and am happy that she & Jennifer''s story was put forth in such a concise manner. There was not time for ALL information to be included, but the general facts were shared. Prayers for the Grinstead and Kesse families. Thanks GBI!
