Some thoughts:

-- Tara''s boyfriend and his buddy that supplied the alibi need to be grilled separately, for hours, and then any inconsistencies can be looked into. She disappeared right after the end of a rocky, long-term relationship. Red flag. It''s strange that he would say that she threatened suicide, whereas her friend with some scorn doubted she would say such a thing. I agree with other posters that it sounds fishy he would drive all night with a friend. Like all the rest of us, Tara''s boyfriend deserves to be presumed innocent. But I would investigate him like there was no tomorrow.

-- The glove in the front yard may or may not be important. We''ve all had strange things blown into our property.

-- I found it interesting that Jennifer was exceptionally concerned about personal safety, and then her fears came true. Was she the victim to some sort of attack prior to her disapperance, making her afraid? If so, the previous attacker and the current one could be one and the same.

With the video player in the back seat I think they said it was stolen. They cold check the serial number on it. People write your serial numbers down and keep it even if you sell it. you never know. but could it be possible a video was taken of Jennifer while she was missing? Maybe its somewhere waiting to be mailed or maybe put where it could be found. Maybe someone was trying to get a message across with the video player.

How tall is Jennifer? Could the woman at the gate be her? Or kin to her? She moved with such ease as if she was going for a stroll. The hair is almost same color. Jennifer''s hair was short to start with. It would be easy to just bob it a little shorter. Check the hairdressers.

Iam not in law enforcement and not involved in crime investigation, but I think you should try to enhance the video you have of the person walking away from the car. He/she has very unusual shoes for a painter/worker. It''s probably too late to try to get impressions from the car or area around the condo, so maybe you can get some clue from the video of the shoes, they seemed to be odd.

I need to correct myself. I just read the article above and realize that it was the glove in Tara''s case that produced prints that were checked against the database for men. If they think the two cases may be linked, they need to check that glove against the women''s database for women.

In reference to Jennifer''s disappearance, as soon as I saw the first picture of the individual walking past the gate, I knew it was a woman. And when I saw the second picture, I actually said out loud, "That''s a woman." I was glad to hear that the investigators were not sure whether it was a man or a woman, but then at the end of the program I read on the screen that the prints were checked against the database for men. I hope this is not true and that the prints were also checked against the database for women. And if that produces no results, I hope the investigators spend more time pursuing the "why would a woman abduct Jennifer" angle rather than concentrating only on men.

Tara, I believe was abducted by someone she knew. I am not excluding her ex policeman boyfriend. I feel it very strange that his alibi is, driving around town with another policeman on duty. What the hay is that, he wasn''t working. How many policemen go around driving on their night off????I know of nobody that wants to spend their night off with another officer. They usually are on a date or watching a football game and having a beer. This is peculiar and stinks as an alibi, that is one scenario. Then there could have been someone she basically was never out with, she knew, they came around and she just said she''d go out for a coffee or a drink. And then there is the possibility that she was going to go somewhere in her car, went out the door and someone grabbed her right outside of her home and she never had a chance to get in her car. She could have been stalked. She was a very beautiful girl. Did she drive from the party or walk???? They never made that clear on the program. I feel it will be solved. I do think her ex boyfriend knows something.

I have previously commented on this case as it was on before, but this was another show, I think. I do believe that Jennifer never got out of that building that day. She was abducted as soon as she stepped out of her apartment, they knew what time she was leaving for work. I said in my other comments, when you have gut feelings and you are afraid, follow it, it is intuition built in our systems. She should have stayed with a friend until these men had stopped working in the building or had her brother or someone stay with her. I believe she is dead and her body is still somewheres in that building. A scary thing for sure. Nobody should be allowed to have someone working in a building without a full list of all of their ID, phone numbers and police record. It is for the safety of everyone. Jennifer, I believe is dead. God bless her family and I hope they find her.

I agree with c8acht1 that the figure in front of iron gate is a WOMAN! Perhaps obsessed and in love with her? After this airs, I hope someone has a gut feeling who the person is. Sad her family lives on wondering where she is.

I think Jennifer''s body is in that Condo. It''s sealed in a wall or buried in a shaft somewhere. It''s a big buildning, She''s in there. The reason there were no signs of struggle in her car was because she was never in it. She went out the door that morning headed for work with purse, keys, cell phone, but never made it out of the building. It would have been very easy and quick for one of the workers, one of the contractors or.... someone who normally does work there, someone she knew, to have snatched her quickly and taken her into a nearby unit. The car, well it wasn''t found for almost two days. It could have been driven all around town(even though the police were looking for it, it could have) or even to the ocean and back by the time it was found. I don''t think the car being left at a different location was a bumble, it was deliberate and planned. The person only had to walk back ....to Jennifer''s condo location.
Get search warrents for all the units in the building and the whole building it''s self and go in there with cadaver dogs. They can find a human hair in a hurricane and even if she''s cemented into a retaining wall there, they could find her and her poor family and friends could have at least that one end to this.
If that condo is ever torn down some day, Jennifer''s body will be found.

I know this may sound completely crazy but here goes... Is it at all possible that the N. Koreans may have abducted these two young women? After all they did take several Japanese citizens from Japan proper in the 1970''s and early 1980''s. To their families they just seemed to vanish into thin air. It wasn''t until a US Army defector sought to leave N. Korea that the story of the Japanese abductions became known. I can think of several reasons why the N. Koreans may want to abduct US citizens. And it would be next to impossible to ever find out if they did. It just might be something to consider.

I recently watched several mini documentaries on human trafficking on current.com and I immediately thought this was exactly that. These women would be very sought after and probably paid for in big numbers. I suspect a very sophisticated operation--even the person walking by the gate struck me as ''stylish, dressed french-like not-from-America dressed. Has this been considered. Get new investigators who can think out of the box. And, my family and I also wondered if police read these blogs. PLEASE LET US KNOW-- What a great way to get ideas/leads/perspectives. Our prayers go out to these families.

The story referred to the potential killer as a male. ...I thought why a guy? I think you are wrong. The person in the video walking past the gate of Tara''s apartment looked like a female. Look at her walking "gate". Females walk toe first. Males walk heal first. I have 4 brothers....none of them walk toe first! Females walk toe first...like in heels. I think you need to be looking for a female, not a male. If it is a male...I think he is pretty "gay"!

In regardto the jennifer kesse story, have the police interviewed the men who were working at her condo. They made a comment that they were untraceable. That bullcrap. The men working there were hiring by SOMEONE. Those men got paid for working that day. There has to be a list of people who were working. Did they look in payroll records of the company who hired these men. THey didnt work for free. So someone paid them weather it be a construction company, a painting co, a day laboror. The owners or management company know who they hired, what contractors were there. Were the contractors interviewed, we they fingerprinted and interviewed and checked for warrants. Maybe someone working that day has done this crime before.

2nd possibly theroey is the owner of the cell phone that was left in the apt. Maybe that guy cme back to retreive his cell phone. She would have let him in her apt and not be in fear of him

What about these painters, maybe this guy was in her apt when she arrived home. Was her apt fingerprinted

Did you check into manageement of the condo. They would have keys to gain access. Maintenance workers assgined to the condo has master keys.

3 years later is a long time to try to solve this crime and I feel sorry for this girl and her family but I think more should have been done.

Call Haunting Evidence, its a program of psychic investigators that is used across the country. Both of these murders needs sovled quickly.

I hope someone in Tara''s town is reading these. I was wondering since Tara came home and changed clothes, do they know what clothes were missing from the closet and what purpose they may be worn too? Was there a discussion between her and someone at that party saying she might be going somewhere.

In Tara Grinstead''s case, Cops use latex gloves, so do firemen, ambulance drivers, hospital workers etc. But then could it be possible after the breakup with the boyfriend, and then the fact of not winnng the sweet potato pagent been too much for her, maybe rejection feeling or something? And she just decides to go away, away from everyone and everything.

I first felt as if Tara either was abducted, or didnt want to be found. But 2 cases, w/ so much in common, thats just not the case, and they both loved their lives too much to do that.
It is my feeling that they may be held captive, that their abducter may not want to kill them, just have them. Because if their abducter wanted to have their way with them and then kill them, there would have been a sign of that. Some abductors abduct their victim, and keep them captive for as long as they can, and if the cops get too close to solving the case, they may get rid of their victim. I feel as if the abductor is keeping tabs on the case incase something new happens. He went into it feeling as if he would get away w/ it. But It can be solved, you just have to check into the most unthinkable areas....
