- Finally, there is quite a bit of brainwashing going on here- to that 13 year old girl, while well intentioned, saving people is just a game that she plays. She isn''t old or experienced enough to be able to deal with the complex philosophical debates in religion (such as Calvinism vs. Armenianism) as well as the philosophical arguments which arise when dealing with diverse people from diverse backgrounds in mission fields (as evidenced in her dealing with the Mormons). These kids are not ready to be doing everything that a real missionary would. It''s fine for them to go on trips and try to share love with people, but lets be honest, kids are idiots. It''s just ridiculous to expect a 13 year old, who quiet obviously doesn''t understand her own faith, to be witnessing to adults. Kids might be a great way to get people to listen, but if all you are doing is trying to persuade by cheap tricks, you%u2019re going to get cheap results- not true conversion.

- Does saying a prayer with a "missionary" really make a person a Christian and "save" them. If Christianity is real at all, it should take time a realization on part of the person being saved- it''s not an instantaneous event- like getting vaccinated for the flu. Furthermore, who are these kids to think that "they''re" saving someone. They barely grasp their own faith, have little knowledge of other faith as evidenced in the video, and largely, are just doing what their mentors/teachers at church and the bootcamp have shown them to do. They need to worry about understanding their own faith before they go try to save the world. The adults over them should be ashamed of the way they''ve distilled and distorted the goal of Christianity to these kids- getting someone to say 2 minute prayer that supposedly is going to save their soul. How legalistic a message is that from Christians, who according to the bible, believe you are saved by grace through faith, and not works.

- The arrogance of christians! They''re trying to hijack the word ''truth'' for their agenda, as they have the word ''faith''. All they offer as proof of what they claim to believe is the text known as the bible. The judge and advocate cannot be the same - That should be common knowledge. And what of the bible? Here''s a book that was originally an oral tradition, then written centuries later in Aramaic, Greek and Hebrew, then re-written by Constantine and King James to fit their political agendas, and we''re supposed to believe this is the ''revealed word'' of an omnipetent being? And the almighty is one we should be afraid of but love, because he demands love (due to jealousy or zeal, depending on the translation)and can destroy us. Tonight''s show was one of the most egregious displays of child abuse by religious fanatics I have ever witnessed; much like the members of the muslim sects who strap bombs to children''s backs and teach them to use weapons. Different set of myths, but same dangerous fanaticism.

- @christgirl: Please do love god in your faith and ways but please read and know your history because your "nosri Hate to break the news to you but this is a christian nation our fore fathers were very devoted christians. We have In God we trust on all our money in our court rooms, we sing song with the mention of God. Even Christmas songs Christ----mas is about Christ NOT allah, Not buddiah Not Hindu but CHRIST" is WRONG and very, very much against the principles upon which this country was founded (e.g., your money example is way off and an example of what happens when you have fear and ignorance in "power")

- You should go to a church who in its doctorines and bylaws focus on and believe the ture and inerrant word of God. Basically a church that is bibically correct. YOu can''t know which church to go to if you don''t read or know your bible.
The chruch I have gone to all believe in the bible and follow its teaching. A messanic temple is one that believes Jesus is the messiah or the son of God who died for us. While still observing the Jewish traditions that even Christ observed such as Passover. - Reply to this comment

Hebrews 10:25 "And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near". NLT

- I posted but I''ll post again.
Chruch is a fellowship. A place where you can and should be open and honest with people. A place for you to be accountable to a group and a place to learn about God. Yes churchs are good, I go to church every Sunday. I go to an NCBC chruch. However I have also gone to a messanic temple (Im part Jewish) I have read up some on other religions.

- for gigorgei and cbslogin01 You two are the most dangerous of all! Calling on the Anti Christ Liberal Union (ACLU) to look into this program and CBS for showing JUST EXACTLY what the MAJORITY of Americans are looking for in our Primetime entertainment... you should be ashamed of yourselves! But you are not, because you want to perpetrate your atheistic views on the rest of US, while not tolerating my views. Let me say, 1) it takes more faith being an Atheist than being a Christian. 2) Tolerance is only tolerable to those that are in agreement with each other. Oh, but have a different view and BAM! You''re a narrow minded Christian! Hypocrites!

- To awinter3: Yes, the Bible was written over a long span of time and that is what makes it so amazing. You have prophecies clear back from the book of Genesis coming to pass through Jesus. You have prophecies in the book of Isaiah (written hundreds of years...I think it was 600 or 700 years, I''m going off memory right now) that the prophecy of Jesus'' birth was recorded. To see it come to pass through Jesus only solidify''s the validity in the Scripture, both Old and New Testament. The Bible is either 100% true or it is false. There is no believing some parts of it and not others. John 17:17, from the mouth of Jesus: "Your Word is truth." And in Psalm 119:160 it says: "The entirety of Your Word is truth." You can''t separate the Torah from the rest of the Bible and call it alone truth. The purpose of the torah was to show man how depraved we are and how we cannot live up to God''s standard. The law does one thing: shows us our sin and shows us our opposition to God (unless you are saved).

According to the New Testament the Pharisees objected to Jesus''s mission to outcast groups such as beggars and tax-collectors, but Rabbinic texts actually emphasize the availability of forgiveness to all. Indeed, much of Jesus'' teaching, for example the Sermon on the Mount, is consistent with that of the Pharisees.
Some scholars believe that those passages of the New Testament that are most hostile to the Pharisees were written sometime after the destruction of Herod''s Temple in 70 [18], at a time when it had become clear that most Jews did not consider Jesus to be the messiah, see also Rejection of Jesus. At this time Christians sought most new converts from among the gentiles, and needed to explain why converts should listen to them rather than the Jews, concerning the Hebrew Bible. They thus would have presented a story of Jesus that was more sympathetic to Romans than to Jews. It was only after 70 that Phariseeism emerged as the dominant form of Judaism. - Reply to this comment
- I think Chirst girl, that your intentions are right and true, you are just going about it in the wrong way. Read, understand, make relationships with people then when they see God in you they will want to ask you what you have that they don''t. Don''t argue and yell at people, that is exactly what the pharesees did.
The whole commandaments can be sumed up into 2. Love the lord your God, and Love your neighbor as yourself. Who is your neighbor, everyone. Everyone one the board everyone at in community. Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. - Reply to this comment
- woe. woe, wait one minute Mormons are not Christians dont let anyone lie to u. they might use and say many of words like Christ, God and salvation, but their meaning of them is contrary to the Bible. the biggie is that their are billions of Gods and the cherry on top is that if you follow josephs smith teachings (if u r a male preferably white) you too will become a God. God is not created, He is eternal well thats what God says in His Holy Word.
