- Good question, "more beans." Why would someone text her if they knew she was dead? They wouldn''t. Why did Kevin say he called her all day, when there is not one record of a phone call to her from him until about 4:30 pm? By the way, Yes--he IS the only one without an alibi and his temper is pretty well known, inherited from grandpa and dad--who threw a chair thru the wall of the police station during Kevin''s lie detector test. Guess that was more rational than getting a lawyer. The lie detector was during Nona''s visitation. Kevin could''ve said "hey, I''m outta here, I''m not under arrest, got a wake to go to." They edited out of 48 hours any comments about fights that Nona and Kevin got into. Even grandma Jones knew about Kevin hitting Nona.

- I do know what I am talking about. It doesn''t matter if the ex-lovers knew about Kevin being in and out of her life or not, they didn''t necessarily LIKE it BUT Kevin is the only one with a motive, ONLY one with a temper, the ONLY one with opportunity? One of them texted her the next morning saying he was "worried about her". Why would you text someone you know is dead? Okay, we will overlook that. It was in the paper they found a condom wrapper in the apartment and on questioning, ironically none of the guys wore them.. haha are you still with me? The case was built around Kevin and you can base that on stats too if you want - 95% of murders are the boyfriend. That way of thinking is dangerous. Did all 7 or 8 suspects have a lie detector test? *nods no* Where is that major piece of evidence? OOPS no text messages now. Must have been pretty important info on there since the battery was taken at the time of the murder, but none of that matters because they "had their man" based on "majority" of who finds them first.

- What do you mean none of the suspects besides Kevin had a lie detector test? You don''t know what you''re talking about. I believe he had the lie detector test at the beginning of his interrogation, not the end--I haven''t checked the time stamps on the tapes again. Why don''t you? Nona''s "ex-lovers" all knew about Kevin coming and going in and out of her life, depending on when he and Nona had their latest fight. Kevin didn''t know about the ex-lover(s) though, until he found the condom. Statistically, how many murderers are the first ones to discover the murder? Uh, the majority?

- Okay fair enough who of the 7 or 8 suspects had a lie detector test? Zip, Nobody. Kevin had his taken after 7 hours of interrogation.. doubt I would pass either. Who else had a motive? Ex lover. Kevin did have an alibi, ex lover didnt. The bloody print was on the light bulb, not weapon...weapon had no prints neither did the knife. You do straddle people to give chest compressions I don''t know why that is so relevant to everybody or raises eyebrows. Grabbing straws has grown cold just like this case.. its time to find who really did this to this precious little girl - where is CSI when you need them? How ludicrous does it sound to kill someone and then go back and stage a scene to cover yourself? Sorry but thats just stupid.

- What if Kevin really did kill Nona? What if he really is a sociopath that believes his own lies? What if he is a fantastic actor? What if he is great at manipulating people?
SO WHAT? He was acquitted and cannot be tried again for this. - Reply to this comment
- The show omits most of the incriminating evidence against Kevin. Seven or eight suspects were initially questioned by cops. Only one flunked the lie detector (Kevin). Only one had a motive (Kevin). Only one had no alibi (Kevin). Only one had a bloody print on the murder weapon (Kevin). Two experts (Chief Bacon and forensics expert Bevill) said that the bloody print could ONLY have been put there during the commission of the murder. One said that it was physically impossible to place the print on the bulb during discovery because of Kevin''s position straddling the body (Bacon).

- Kevin wasn''t a paramedic he was a 20 year old kid who tried to revive his girlfriend. Again, he didnt know she was seeing someone else until AFTER she was killed, his DNA was NOT on the condom wrapper, he never picked it up,so what is the motive? Was the ex-lover not upset, did he not have motive knowing she was with Kevin until almost 1:00 AM?? Kevin''s "motive" has fallen through the cracks. He was interrogated 7 hours and kept standing his ground.. why? He was telling the truth. Lunch hour in Russellville is the "window of opportunity". How can you eat in Dover and rush to Russellville - he had an alibi. Personally I wouldnt know what I touched or didnt touch if I found someone I love lying in blood, cold and not breathing. You dont think, you can''t, you act on impulse, panic and fear.. a total state of shock. If you killed someone out of rage you would find every excuse not to go back in that house, you wouldn''t call and theres no way you would bring your mother to endure that horror. He did what any of us would do, tried to help her and then realizing she was dead he held her crying. He is being condemned for tampering with the scene for that. Somebody killed her, somebody she rejected, someone who was furious with her but it wasnt Kevin.
