Shame on you CBS and 48 hours. You made Laura out to be a victim, but in fact she is a very evil woman. The victims here are Jennifer and HER family. I have no pity for Laura...she should spend the rest of her pathetic life in jail.

If I were the interviewer, I would cut the *** and get right down to it.... ask her - how come if you say you were fearing for your life and that you were taken against your will from Colton that you would have a tattoo on your leg of his name? And you start crying that you say that he is lying about saying that you participated in dismembering the body, and you felt betrayed by his love, that you would still get that tattoo? Hmmmm... oh yeah Laura... that''s a different Colton in your life..... what''s his last name? Good defense.... Murderer! Retry Laura for the murder of Jennifer Cave!!!! This is because she must pay with the rest of her life for her ultimate evil deed!!!!!

To the state and prosecutor, DON"T LET LAURA HALL get away with murder!!!!! Recharge her for the death of Jennifer.... at least conspiracy, since Colton has already been found guilty of first degree! Or can Laura be tried for first degree? Her prints on the weapon shows that she was indeed the last person to hold the gun, and it is the murder weapon! The right person should be paying for this heinous crime! Jennifer''s real killer is going to be released in five years.... This is such a tragedy! Are you listening police and prosecutor????? So the bottom line is this.... Laura is so upset that the public and police have the wrong image of her because she did not dismember the body, which seems more heinous than the crime itself. She was never asked if she murdered Jennifer, because the police always had it wrong. Therefore, she was in fact, telling the truth and crying.... she''s right.... she''s being convicted of a crime that she clearly did not commit. The state should charge her with at least conspiracy of murder, and for trying to help conceal a dead body... she may well have helped a bit in the dismembering of the body, but it should be clear that Colton did most of the heavy work.

We know that Laura was in a jealous rage because after she killed her with the first shot she shot her again, and then stabbed her all over the place. It''s clearly not self-defense, because it does not make any sense that she would stab her a few times and then shoot her twice. She was clearly mad at Jennifer... the motive? Because she was with Colton. I think that Jennifer found her with Colton that night, and because she knew where the gun was at his house, she took it out and shot her.... right in front of her lover..... Colton then proved his profound love for her by helping her dismembering her body, and this is why Laura is just so crazy about Colton.

Now that I thought about it last night, I believe that Colton helped dismember the body, but that Laura shot Jennifer.... the simple fact is that the gun had Laura''s fingerprints on it! Common sense would tell you that if Colton did it, his prints would have been the last one on it. They were too stupid to wipe their prints off! If you actually think about it, if Laura had nothing to do with the murder, then why are her prints on the gun, which was the murder weapon? Laura said that, of course, her prints were on the gun, because she was at his place lots of times.... but then how did the gun become the murder weapon in the first place???? So since the gun was the murder weapon, and Laura''s prints were all over the gun, she had to be the murderer. Think about it..... Colton could not have done the crime, because his prints would have been on the weapon, and it''s not like Colton would have then gave the murder weapon to Laura so that she could take the cover for the shooting.... I think that Laura first killed Jennifer, and then Colton dismembered Jennifer''s body - clearly Laura is not as strong as Colton in taking Jennifer''s body apart.... Laura first shot Jennifer, killing her... then in a jealous rage, she then started to stab and shoot Jennifer another time, just to make sure she was dead. Then Laura and Colton then hatched the gruesome plan of disposing the body...

Based on the facts presented and my uncanny ability to read people, I believe Laura killed Jennifer and Colton is covering for her because he feels responsible for creating the situation that lead to Laura shooting Jennifer.

Laura DOES NOT fit the stupid love-whipped profile portrayed by her defense attorney what-so-ever! Nor do I buy Colton''s statement that he doesn''t remember anything.

I believe Laura appeared on the scene, finding Jennifer with Colton, went into an out-of-control jealous rage which resulted in her shooting Jennifer. Together, Colton and Laura attempted to clean up the scene but were too freaked out to complete the disposal of Jennifer''s body so they decided to skip the country instead.

While Colton (and his defense attorney) did little to defend his case, we should all be deeply concerned if the convicting jury placed a lot of weight on the fact that he had a collection of mafia movies!

There are a lot of unanswered questions about this case but most absent is Colton''s motive! Laura had motive and I think she is quite capable of having committed this crime.

I think the investigators should re-examine this entire case and get to the truth!

There is something deeply wrong with this girl. I believe the word I%u2019m looking for is EVIL. People shouldn%u2019t lie when they don%u2019t do it well, especially mentally ill people. Let%u2019s say for arguments sake she had nothing to do with the dismemberment. She should have gotten at least 10 years for conspiracy to conceal a capital crime. Good thing we removed the Bible from schools lest she might have been taught basic moral behavior

I never comment on stories but I had to this time because from what I have seen and read Laura is gulity of murder and jealousy was the motive.My Sympathy goes out to the Cave family I hope they reinvestigate this and justice is served

I would challange Laura Halls'' attorney to first have a full work-up "independantly" by a psychiatrist brought in that is unaware of any circumstances of the case or even knowlage of the case. My guess is that a M.M.P.I. will reveal a dependant personality disorder there by makeing her a) Not capable of being aware of the seriousness of any act that she "may have committed" by her. b) This diagnosis will resemble "Sockholm Syndrome" therefore also as in Sockholms we would see that a person that is very attached to the perpetrator, defending him, and easily swaded by police intimidation and even lead by police. Therefore this would also render any testimony given to police or in court inadmissable as she would not have knowlage of the gravity of her testimony and would still be trying to protect the co-defandant. Any accurate recall of the event would have to be obtained by a psychiatrist wilth Laura Hall otherwise how can we know that it is accurate or if she is as much a victum as Jennifer Cave.

OMG, Laura is a sociopath and I don''t know exactly what involvement she had but she certainly is guilty by association. At the very least she saw the body and didn''t call the police then she took off to Mexico with Colton.. I actually would tend to think she did have something to do with the mutilation based on her interviews and her obvious lies! She''s a nut case man!

Laura is a very, very sick person. It sent a chill down my spine when you showed the image of Laura''s tattoo on her ankle at the end of the program. Who in their right mind would do that after knowing their boyfriend murdered someone...or did he? The other person who wrote in about the possibility of Laura actually committing the murder after finding Colton and Jennifer together, may be on to something. After all, Laura has shown how her love for Colton will go to any extreme.

What I think happened! maybe is that colton had nothing at all to do with this, he was on drugs, he says he don''t remember nothing, I think Laura went to the apartment while jennifer was alive, was jealous etc... and shot her, and left the apartment, colton called laura later thinking he did it and showed her the body, and told her he dind''t no what had happened, laura saw the body of Jennifer and said what are we gonna do? come on!!! she aint no socialpath, she''s a freaking brilliant killer, who got away with it.she''s fooling everyone even colton, fingerprints on the gun, slippers, the DNA evidence doesn''t matter haha? I am a retired criminal investigator. Please, I beg of you; don''t let this case stand as is. Any forensic psychiatrist who spent five minutes with Laura Hall would know she is a psychopathic personality. NOT just sociopathic which would indicate she is an antisocial personality, but a psychopath capable of any act necessary to control her environment. Colton is as much a victim of Laura as was Jennifer. By that I mean it''s not too difficult to see how Laura convinced and manipulated Colton into believing he killed Jennifer. My theory, based on years of investigation and research, is that Laura was there at some point while Jennifer was alive and, in fact, was the one who killed her. She then forced Colton to help her with the attempt to dismember and dispose of the body, which fell through when she realized how difficult it would be. That boy is guilty of the crime ascribed to Laura and Laura is guilty of the crime ascribed to Colton. I only hope someone has the courage and sense of right and wrong to reinvestigate this case to its proper conclusion.

I am not going to assume I know all of the facts of this case. I do not belive you can watch this show and get all the facts, but as I have been in an abusive relationship I know what its like. I think unless you have been in a relationship like that you can not judge a person on their behavior. Its an undescribale fear, that you live with day in and day out. Fear mixed with a strange love for this person who is hurting you. All I am trying to say is that we can not judge her with just a glimps into this case. I am not saying she is guilty nor inosent. I pray for Jennifers loved ones left behind and that someday, hopefully soon, they will have peace. I can not imagine the horrible pain of this.

Soon after the murder I was looking at Laura Hall''s Facebook profile, and on it she said "Police ruined my summer" and something to the effect of, "Colton didn''t hurt anybody, he''s an amazing person." And on his profile she at some point wrote that she should have taken him to Paris. SHE should have taken HIM.

I have never taken the time to log in to express my opinions on the web but after watching this program I just had to!
This demonic spirit in laura is pure EVIL,
she terrifies me with her deomonic eyes and unbelievable behavior and then to play passive and "oh poor me" she is as guilty if not more. I pray for the Cave family I am sorry for your loss. You said it best Mrs. Cave when you stated "her eyes are lifeless she has no soul!" I also hope the D.A. pays attention to what us observers have to say!

I taught Jennifer in 7th Grade English at Bishop. She was a wonderful young woman with a positive attitude and gentle personality. My sympathy goes out to her family. Laura Hall appears guilty to me. I salute Sharon and Jim for channeling some of their grief into getting HB 872 and the Jurors Counseling Bill passed.
