Comments on: Poll: Obama Opens 14-Point Lead On McCain
CBS News/New York Times Survey Shows Major Swing Among Independents, Suggests McCain's Strategy May Be Hurting Him
- I do have a great appreciation for women, if Katie was a guy I would be saying the same thing. Look we survived Jimmy Carter we can survive Barak. The scariest thing is a potential filibuster proof congress. That is extremely dangerous no matter what party is in office, I don''t care if it is a republican run or a democratic run government. A balance is neede. Look at the damage Pelosi, Reid, Franks etc... have done the last two years.

- Misses Wackenuff, I don''t know what company you work for but the one I do will pay a man, woman, black or white the same pay if they can handle the job. Those examples that Obamer pushes on the uninformed are ''60s retorict. By the way, I work for a company that employs over 3,500 people and we have no glass ceiling, if you don''t thinks so ask the VP of my dept. who is by the way a black woman.

- Obama still denies his relationship with Ayers,
still lies about hiring an Acorn subsidiary to gather
votes, and yet appears to many as Presidential. His pr folks have done an amazing job of presenting an
unqulaified man who has mastered his talking points for middle class America.
Have our country and its morals slid so far
to vote for a man with no true heart for America, proposing an economic disaster with his spending policies and while Ayers may not advise him, along
with Jeremiah Wright Obama has shown the true colors
of who he admires. - Reply to this comment
- CBS reports on its webpage that Obama won over the undecided panel but on TV the members decided in favor of McCain. As soon as the plumber came on and said he was leaning toward McCain, Katie cut him off. Sad, sad, day for CBS. Suck it up and publish this.

- Again your brainless and pointless attacks on Obama won''t get you anywhere...and way to resort to name calling you and your candidate have a lot in common! Ha! Mccain / Palin is a joke!

- Hay wackenuf, do you actually know how much of the taxes this country collects is from the rich already? I think not. The rich already pay 85% of the taxes, the rest is shared by you and me. What do you want, the rich to pay 100%? It is all easily searchable public records.

- Oh and BTW I''m not Mr. I''m the Misses...and I deserve equal pay something Mccain voted against and if your so interested in soldiers it may interest you to know Mccain voted AGAINST medical benefits for soldiers returning from war but you don''t want to give them a hand

- Obama doesn''t know where the highroad even starts. Staing facts is not attacks. All you have to do is google the communist manifesto and you will see almost all of Obama''s talking points.

- I work hard too and don''t appreciate paying taxes and getting nothing in return but instead giving my money back to the wealthiest people who often do nothing but inheriting wealth from those who oppressed others

- Hey Mr. hadenuff, I could care less about Monica. Have you ever watched Black Hawk Down? I bet the family members of those soldiers wished Clinton would have kept his mind on important things instead of you know what in Monica.

- Keep in mind, it takes 2/3 majority vote in congress to get a bill passed the democrats can''t do it alone, stop blaming and characterizing and take part of the responsiblity for fixing our country...when it comes to character attacks, regarding Sarah Hockeymom, Obama took the high road, Mccain took the lowest one

- vincan this debate shows us how bad we DO NOT need Obama as president. Obama doesn''t have a clue how the ordinary people live and how to meet their needs. I do not want the Government runing my life for me, I do not want the Government controlling or giving me anything. I take pride in the fact that I have worked hard for everything I have and do not want Government taking anything away from me, Obama''s asanine statem that "the wealth should be spread around" is frighteneing, nobody is taking anything from me to give to anyone else. Is that what you want? Or are you one of those who believes that someone who works hard and is successful should have part of their success taken away and given to you. If Obama is the answer it must be a really stupid question. Hope you like socialism because that is what you will get with Obama.
