Secretary Of State Accuses Iran Of Giving Diplomats The Runaround At Six Nation Talks

On May 15, 1948, America was the new Leader Empire of the world. If the American President had not agreed with the British about Israel, nothing would had happened with regard to the creation of the State of Israel.
1st the Roman Empire, then the Ottoma Empire, then the British Empire. Palestanians could not do anything period. Why do you think May 15 1948 was so special? Midnight May 14 was the last day of the British Empire. May 15 was the 1st day of NO Empires on Palestine.
I hate to be looking at the Crystal Ball, but the State of Palestine would have eventually been born out of nothing in that region of the world. - Reply to this comment

I think if the first rules of non-intervention with ANY Nation is upheld, the points you mention would be inclusive. We''d not be there in the first place.
Israel should be Dismantled as a Badly Flawed and Failed Experiment. How many Americans have died defending Israel''s Existence. One would be too many. - Reply to this comment

Leave other people alone. Don''''t trample on their Rights or Subvert their Religions or Beliefs. Stay out of their Internal Affairs and intervene ONLY if requested by them. Live and Let Live. Stay out of my back yard and I''''ll do likewise.

All 22 Arab nations feel deeply hurt by our total disrespect for their bothers and sisters in Palestine.
The fact that we provide Unconditional Support for Israel is in itself disrespect to the other Arab nations.

That''s about the size of it.....I reject the belief that Muslims would still have such Anti-American and Anti-European feelings if Israel had never been created. Every society is composed of people who have Families and wishes to live in Peace and Prosperity. Having some entity remove their ability to have such a life, is a sure fire recipe for Conflict.

There is a vast difference in Public Opinion concerning some degree of feelings of dislike for Jewish people as a whole, as compared to the Support of Israel. Israel was a Zionist invention, and many Jewish Rabbis and people believe it to be an Abomination and contrary to Jewish Religious Doctrine. - Reply to this comment

On May 15, 1948, the American President advocated the creation of the State of Israel in the heart of the Muslim Middle-East. 2 years later, 4.5 millions Palestinians were forced out of their homes and lands without compensation.
I am not going to say that this is Terrorism but I will say America is bleeding Treasury and blood because of one religious decision 60 years ago. This bleeding keeps exploding with our continue UnConditional Support to Israel. I cannot believe America cares much more about Israel than of ourselves.
2 weeks after 9/11, Osama Bin Ladin released his 1st video. In the video, he clearly listed the top 3 reasons for bombing the twin towers. The 1st reason was the US military base 60 miles from their Muslim''''s holy Mecca in Saudi Arabia. The 2nd reason was the Palestine crisis. Now, Bush wants a State of Palestine. Osama is really winning BIG here.
On Osama Bin Ladin 2nd released video, Osama states that they will destroy America Economically and not Militarily. So far, Osama is really winning Big here.

- Folks,
Afghanistan is getting our of control. USA must move brigades from Iraq to Afghanistan ASAP. Therefore, USA must get out of Iraq.
In about 4 years, once Afghanistan is quiet again, USA must move brigades from Afghanistan to Iraq again.
USSR quit Afghanistan after 13 years of attempting everything under the Sun. Then, USSR filed for chapter 13.
Please be patience, USA got 6 more years of war before it files for chapter 13. - Reply to this comment

(Excerpt)
Rendering public opinion irrelevant
"One of the most striking aspects of our political discourse, particularly during election time, is how efficiently certain views that deviate from the elite consensus are banished from sight -- simply prohibited -- even when those views are held by the vast majority of citizens. The University of Maryland''s Program on International Policy Attitudes -- the premiere organization for surveying international public opinion -- released a new survey a couple of weeks ago regarding public opinion on the Israel-Palestinian conflict, including opinion among American citizens, and this is what it found:
A new WorldPublicOpinion.org poll of 18 countries finds that in 14 of them people mostly say their government should not take sides in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Just three countries favor taking the Palestinian side (Egypt, Iran, and Turkey) and one is divided (India). No country favors taking Israel''s side, including the United States, where 71 percent favor taking neither side."

- Hey tbweb,
There are 119 nations run by Dictators and Kings. I am sure some are worst than Saddam Hussein like the one in Sudan who did an excellent job of keeping Shiites and Sunnis (and the others in the north) separated just like American Soldiers are doing right now at a huge cost to the U.S. Treasury (future generations). - Reply to this comment

What ever happened to the Policy of Deterrance between 2 enemies such as Israel having over 150 nuclear warheads and it Arabs neighbors?
Deterrance worked awesome between USA and USSR and working great today between USA and China and Russia. - Reply to this comment

The truth is, our "mission" was to go after those responsible for 911---Sadam was never one of them.
We had no business going into Iraq after Sadam---we should have concentrated on the USA and 911.
Unfortunately 911 was just a diversion to invade Iraq, we sent more troops to Iraq than to where Bin Laden was known to be---Afganistan!!!
I can''t understand how people justify going into Iraq by saying we had to "get" Sadam---and the concentration and focus of 911 and "getting" Bin Laden has just disappeared!
Saddam did NOTHING to us--had NOTHING to do with 911--we did NOT need to "deal" with him--the only one out of control was BUSH!!!!!!!! - Reply to this comment
