LOL,,,with partial darkness in Alaska,,, - Reply to this comment
- Carlin always told it like it was. Wasn''t afraid to take on rightwingers, supernatural "believers" or anyone else mired in delusional thinking. Thanks for the fresh air George!

- Yawn,,,,, like the hippy dippy weatherman said before,,the low temps will be low.. the high temps will be the high for the day.
With a little apprehension through the day,, for some will experience a little sickness in the morning, known as morning sickness.
And the counterparts of said sickness, will have sympathy pains.
With a overall clearing in the meantime, in aout 9 months.

Architekker....Why do you fear us so much? As an atheist I live my life just like everyone else does. I have never harmed anyone in my life and I do not go about trying to coerce others into believing as I do. I do not attack Christians or Jews or Catholics or anyone of faith. I respect your right to believe whatever you feel is right. I do not worship satan nor do I sacrafice small animals. So, why do you fear me? I am not a threat to you in any way. We just see things in a different way. I am not evil and if you met me you would not know what my beliefs were usless I chose to tell you. As a liberal, as odd as it sounds, I believe in compassion for my fellow man and that I am my brothers keeper. Things that Christians say they believe in too. I believe in freedom and justice for all. What''''''''s so bad about me?

Well said, Element51, you can''''t argue with that!

I always respect what you have to say element, and if we spent more time listening and learning instead of judging and railing what a better place to live in, it would be. - Reply to this comment
- anybody that can bash the far right and get under their skin is a hero in my book! RIP George where ever you may be.

What an idiot! George said he was a SUN worshiper and he prayed to Joe Pesci. Put your Christian-spin
on someone else, George didn''t need it. He had a brain and didn''t believe in fairytales. - Reply to this comment
- He certainly had a talent for bringing out the most ordinary stuff in life and making it seem funny. His delivery was an art form matched by no other. He interjected vulgarities at just the right moment which made it seem less rude than when other comedians would do the same. Another great one has left us. Rest in peace.

Sorry,,I have to disagree, Sam Kinison was as funny as George was. They dealt with their subject matter from different angles. And with it, a different view.
Both was funny, and both made us think. Carlin was better at it though, I think.
Btw, I saw Sam at Bronco Bowl in Dallas, a great show it was too. I hope the two are having a big fat one, and a few laughs, where ever they are. - Reply to this comment

- kansas1946, thank you for pointing that out. Any moron that will bash someone, weather alive or dead for who and what they are is lower than slime. George Carlin brought to life so many issues that made people think twice on what they were doing. The bottom line was, he was a comedian and nothing else. He didn''''t follow any particular political agenda, but was a devoted father and husband.

Thanks, mitch. Well, George wasn''t a saint, but he made us look at ourselves, our foolishness, our strangeness, and laugh about it. He has been making me laugh since I was a teenager, and I am old! I heard about his death on the radio today and I couldn''t believe that I was actually getting emotional and getting that lump in my throat. I have never done that about a celibrity, but there was just something about George that touched people. We felt like we knew him and he was a member of our family. I will miss him greatly. - Reply to this comment
- Comparing George to Sammy K is like comparing apples and oranges. George was weeeeelllll before Sammy''s time. And also, here''s the kicker: Sammy wasn''t funny at all...just a rock n'' roller screamer who never made any sense, at least to me....Sorry, Sam K, but you have NOTHING on Mr. Carlin. May you BOTH rest in peace.

If you are going to spend your life attacking atheists, learn how to spell it. If you are going to spend your life hating people, then learn to do it with proper English. You know George was a stickler about words and the English language. - Reply to this comment

Dang mud rosi why don''t you ask Ronald Regan he''s the guy that wouldn''t make a decision without consulting his wise Counselor/Astrologer. Besides he''d be more up on the weather since he''s been there a few years, if as you believe every non-believer is automatically going to Hades and you muddies know God%u2019s judgments from down here on planet stupid where you reside. - Reply to this comment
