knowing Christ has nothing to do with following a "religion" it has to do with having a personal relationship with Him, your Creator

It doesn''t?

Your definition is askew and makes no sense. Christ is christianity and christianity is a religion, and christianity is Christ. It doesn''t matter what you say or think; if you are following Christ''s teachings then you are following a religion. If you pray to Christ then you are practicing a religion.

Look up the definition of religion. Or did you change that, too?

However, I doubt anyone alive today is faithfully following Christ''s teaching, considering that all we know about him was written by other people.

Christianity doesn''t fit with the Messianic prophecies. Christianity is a waring faction and has been from the start in Rome. The Messiah will bring peace. The Christians claim the Messiah has come, but they are rather in bloody conflict and their Messiah no where to be seen.

You totally ignore the undeniable Messianic prophecies fulfilled through Christ even when they are shown right to you in black and white.

The prophecies as written in the old testament have NOT been fulfilled, as shown in my previous post that you chose to ignore.

Perhaps you haven''t an answer? And if the prophecies don''t fit your needs, you simply write your own bible.

I can easily see how Joseph Smith could start a religion that allowed multiple wives and how Jim Jones could lead a group of disciples to their death. People are gullible.

Then why are you saying they must accept Jesus as God? The Messiah is not God. And when the Messiah comes the dead are resurrected. No one has to accept Jesus as God.

Then they spit in his face and struck him with their fists. Others slapped him

Well, Christ was going against the grain and teaching his own version of Judaism, and ignoring the sabbath. What would you expect the Jews to do?

Christ started a new "cult" religion based on Judaism and the locals didn''t like it. This is really no different than what Mohammed, the Catholics, the Puritans, the Baptists, the Protestants, the Calvinists, Joseph Smith, Jim Jones, Sun Yung Moon, and others have done.

They didn''t like the religion they were given so they changed it. The two major religions are based on Judaism and are still changing. And the kicker is, neither one can co-exist with the other, and neither can co-exist with Judaism without trying to convert them or kill them.

Judaism has changed very little over the millenium. Christianity is still changing.

No, that is not what the Scripture says. The Scripture says that people will recognize that God is with the Jews and will unite with them in worship. This is accomplished by the Messiah.

He is God in the flesh.
*****************

Therefore he cannot be God. God is a spirit, not a man. Not flesh. Read your Bible more carefully.

I noticed that you had no problem ignoring Zechariah 8:23.

Thus said the LORD of Hosts: In those days, ten men from nations of every tongue will take hold - they will take hold of every Jew by a corner of his cloak and say, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."

Enjoy your weekend.

Either Mary was impregnated by "god" or by Joseph. If she was impregnated by god then Christ was NOT from King David''s blood line.

You can''t have it BOTH ways.

Which way is it? Son of Joseph and therefore King David''s bloodline, or son of god?

It seems as this applies moreso to the Jewish people who as a whole suffered all that and more.

If he was in the grave for three days, that means he was dead for three days. God cannot die.

Isaiah 53:5:

5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Born of a virgin (prophecy:Isaiah 7:14a; fulfilled: Matthew 1:21-23)
********
Mistranslation. No virgin is spoken of in this verse.

Sorry, but the Bible, the Torah, forbid God''s people to worship men. God is not a man. No man can see God. And...God cannot die.

Jesus is Lord of all. God became a man, and died on the cross for the sins of mankind, including yours. You just reject His free gift of salvation because you don''''t want Him as an authority in your life. That''''s all it boils down to.

God is not a man.
