What an Idiotic Posting! This is so dumb on just so many levels! First, you can't correlate "French Conservative" to "USA Republican Conservative", nor "French Socialist" to "USA Democrat".
Second, Democrats are not Socialists, any more than Republicans are Fascists. I know Neocons love to place defamatory labels to voice their views. But this is just ridiculous no matter how many times you repeat it.
Third, the new leader may be "friendlier" to the USA, but it probably will not mean any new support in Iraq which is still viewed as simply an illegal war of aggression. Remember that there are actual ongoing war crimes trials by a real court against Donald Rumsfeld, two USA Generals, White House officials, and Defense Dept Officials.
Try to be a little brighter with your comments rather than just showing off how ignorant you can possibly be. Better to keep your mouth closed than to open it and display for all just how ignorant you are! - Reply to this comment

YOu delusional ***. One, I am not a liberal. Two, there is nothing cowrdly in wanting to use your resources intelligently. Three, see my post on what Israel told us. We have not delivered blows against radical Islam. We have not limited their access to us. We have not taken the war to them.
We are fighting Iraqis defending their country in Iraq, with incidental fighters from neighboring countries and a handful of actual terrorists. Why would they come fight us in Iraq when we have left our back door open by pulling the national guard out to go there, and by wasting $500 billion that could have been used to strengthen our borders?

You can glorify the deaths, but it's just 3,000 more Bush has murdered. Our troops deserve our REAL respect and report, not lionizing and crocodile tears. That means get them out of the worse than useless war in Iraq and put them to work fighting, not causing, terror.

Wrong. And the actual figures are more like 500,000 - 650,000 depending on who you read it from. The vast majority of these were not Muslim radicals, although there are a lot more Muslim radicals because of their deaths.
I keep posting this, and NeoCons keep ignoring it, presumably because it doesn't suit their deluded world view and they can't dispute it. But here goes again:
Last year, Mossad (Israeli intelligence, who have more reason than anyone to want the war on terror won) told us that the Iraq disaster has generated 10,000 new recruits for Al Qaeda alone, and that worldwide there are, since the invasion 2003, more than 5 times as many terrorists working against us world-wide.
I don't imagine any war supporters will try to counter this any more than they have before, but how do you explain that the war in Iraq is helping to fight terror, in light of those figures? - Reply to this comment

What does it take for a Neocon to realize the errors of their ways. You need a Liberal to win a war. It took Liberals like FDR, Wilson, Lincoln, and Washington to win America's great wars.
With a man like GWB what can you expect? This man did all he could to avoid actual military active service during Vietnam. He flew sorties over USA amongst commercial aviation. Ike got us into Korea. And Nixon gave away Vietnam at the Paris Peace Treaty!
GWB was responsible for 9/11. GWB is responsible for attacking Iraq. A country that has nothing to do with terror until GWB occupied it. Afghanistan is where the terrorist were until GWB took us to Iraq.

Liberals do not want to appease terrorists. They want to not create MORE terrorists by killing thousands of innocents and causing outrage in formerly moderate Muslims around the world.

- Since some of you Bush supporters are still gloating over Sarkozy's election as the new 'conservitive' president of France, I'll repeat what I posted earlier! While he is not a socialist, by our American standards, he would be a moderate. He does NOT support Bush's war in Iraq. Here is what Sarkozy had to say:
