Julian Assange opens up in rare interview

Two years ago, WikiLeaks' founder Julian Assange revealed 250,000 classified state department cables, causing an uproar. Then he was accused of sexually assaulting two women in Sweden.

He's been under house arrest since then in an undisclosed location on the English countryside, but Assange recently gave a rare interview to Rolling Stone contributing editor Michael Hastings, who is also the author of a new book, "The Operators."

On "CBS This Morning," Hastings discussed how he secured the interview with Assange, the backlash after the publication of the classified documents, Assange's personality, and how journalism has changed since Wikileaks entered the scene.
