(CBS News) Jerome Harrison's National Football League career began with great promise in 2006. Playing for Cleveland, he broke the team's single-game rushing record, held by the Jim Brown.
In 2011, he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, and underwent some routine medical tests. As a result of that exam, a benign tumor was discovered on Harrison's brain stem. During surgery to remove the tumor complications arose and, after the surgery, he suffered a stroke.
