British princes open up about their grandparents
Queen Elizabeth II is celebrating her 60th anniversary -- her Diamond Jubilee -- as Britain's monarch this year. After Queen Victoria, Elizabeth is the second longest-serving monarch in British history.
Prince William and Prince Harry are praising the queen -- nothing new there. But Prince Harry also has warm words for her husband of 64 years, Prince Philip.
"These are the things that, at her age, she shouldn't be doing, yet she's carrying on and doing them," Prince Harry told Andrew Marr in an interview for his upcoming BBC program. Excerpts of the interview were published in the Radio Times.
"Regardless of whether my grandfather seems to be doing his own thing," Prince Harry said, "the fact that he's there -- personally, I don't think that she could do it without him, especially when they're both at this age."
CBS News Royal Contributor Victoria Arbiter said we're just used to seeing Prince Philip there. He's been by her side for as long as she's been queen. Prince Harry's remarks remind us that he's played an important role in all of this.
