Home Depot Inc. rose $.43 or .7 percent, to $59.71.

Lowe's Cos. fell $.06 or .2 percent, to $29.94.

OfficeMax rose $.12 or 1.5 percent, to $8.15.

RadioShack rose $.07 or 2.3 percent, to $2.89.

Staples fell $.07 or .6 percent, to $12.27.

TJX Companies fell $.02 or percent, to $45.15.
