June Auto Sales: Volkswagen
HERNDON, Va. — Volkswagen of America Inc. said Tuesday that its U.S. auto sales in June rose 34.2 percent from a year earlier.
BY THE NUMBERS: VW sold 38,170 vehicles last month, compared with 28,444 in June 2011.
TOP SELLERS: The company sold 13,604 Jettas, including 11,598 sedans and 2,006 SportWagens, though Jetta sales fell 20.5 percent.
HOT MODELS: VW sold 10,252 redesigned Passat sedans, compared with one a year earlier, nearly catching up with the best-selling Jetta. It also sold 2,914 Beetle coupes, compared with two a year ago. VW redesigned the car with a longer, lower profile.

If there is a young driver on the policy who is a good student, has taken a drivers education course or is at a college out of the area without a car, you may also qualify for a lower rate. search online for "Clearance Auto" they are the best for student drivers
