Early Glance: Supermarkets companies
NEW YORK — Shares of some top supermarkets companies are up at 10 a.m.:
Kroger rose $.60 or 2.5 percent, to $24.39.
Safeway rose $.06 or .3 percent, to $21.51.
Supervalu rose $.03 or .5 percent, to $6.56.
Whole Foods Market Inc. rose $.01 or percent, to $80.75.
