GM's Electric Cars: Innovation or Speculation?
(MoneyWatch) This week, GM is showing off a new concept car called the Cadillac Converj. It is a luxury electric car that runs on the same battery as the new Chevy Volt, GM's first mass-produced electric car which is currently in the works.

- While the Converj is largely a styling exercise to demonstrate applications of the Voltec drive beyond the Chevy Volt, General Motors executives stressed that should public interest warrant, they could commit to production of the vehicle.
