15 Free Android Apps That Will Improve Your Productivity
Your Android smartphone is more than just a phone: it's a productivity tool, one that'll help you work faster, better, yada-yada-yada.It's all a matter of stocking it with the right apps. IT Business Edge rounded up 15 Android apps for business users, all of them aimed at boosting your productivity, and all of them free. You'll find task managers, voice recorders, file managers, and one of my personal favorites, MightyMeeting:
MightyMeeting allows users to manage a library of PowerPoint presentations directly from their smartphones. Presentations can be shared via e-mail, blog, Twitter, or Facebook. Users also can start or join Web meetings directly from their Android phone.(Incidentally, MightyMeeting is also available for iPhone and iPad.)
It's kind of a pain to click through 15 slides to see all the apps, and the author didn't bother to provide any links (three demerits!). But if you're an Android user, you're sure to find some worthwhile apps in this list -- and not one of them requires opening your wallet.
Are there any must-have productivity apps on your Android phone? Name 'em in the comments!
