Add 'Live' Web Sites to PowerPoint Presentations with LiveWeb
How many times have you had to pause a presentation so you could switch to your browser to show relevant Web content? Never again: LiveWeb lets you embed Web sites in your presentations. This free add-on works with PowerPoint 97 and later (including PowerPoint 2007 -- just be sure you download the correct version of the utility). Once installed, you simply click Insert > Web Pages, then enter the URLs for the site(s) you want to add. A few more clicks and you're done. LiveWeb effectively embeds a live browser in your presentation, meaning you can interact with sites (click links, show video, etc.) just like in an external browser.
Nice! Glad to see this oldie-but-goodie supporting PowerPoint 2007. And while we're on the subject of jazzing up presentations, check out the pptPlex plug-in we spotlighted last summer. [via Digital Inspiration]
