Sex tapes surrendered in Waffle House CEO lawsuit

MARIETTA, Ga. Lawyers have given a Georgia judge sexual recordings of the CEO of the Waffle House restaurant chain in a lawsuit stemming from accusations made by a former employee who says she was forced into sex.

Cobb County Superior Court Judge G. Grant Brantley took custody of several recordings Wednesday at the request of lawyers for CEO Joe Rogers Jr., who says the woman has been trying to blackmail him.

Attorneys were sorting out whether any copies of the recordings had been made on computer servers.

The former employee filed a police report saying Rogers demanded she perform sexual acts to keep her job. The Associated Press does not generally identify potential victims of sexual assault.

Rogers says they had a consensual sexual relationship, and that the woman is attempting extortion.
