Taking an Unpaid Internship: When Is It a Good Idea?

(MoneyWatch)  With the rate of unemployment for those at the start of their careers far higher than the general level, it doesn't take a genius to see why many young people are considering unpaid internships -- even if they're out of school and already have a little bit of paid experience. But if you've already been in paid employment, is taking an unpaid gig just for the experience ever a good idea? Careerealism.com founder J.T. O'Donnell tackled this question recently in a short but helpful video for website Excelle.
