Gen Y Men: Beware Flying Fists at Work?
(MoneyWatch) Recently, Mint.com and men's lifestyle magazine AskMen teamed up to ask 7,000 men about life as a modern male. And while the survey turned up some factoids that are of little use at the office (most think whiskey is the ultimate man's drink, Italians are crowned the best-dressed men), the poll also included revealing questions about life at work. And guys, you have some aggression issues.
Male ELR readers, are you among the many men apparently dying to deck a co-worker? And why so much aggression in today's offices (or have you always been this secretly violent)? For more info, check out the infographic below.
- A full 60 percent of guys aged 15-19 admitted that, if they could get away with it, they would punch a co-worker in a face.
- And even after those teenage hormones die down a bit, half of men aged 20-24 would do the same, and just slightly less than half of 25-29 year olds would take a swing at someone.
