Tiger Woods, Mark McInnes. Are You Next? | BTalk
(Episode 528; 10 minutes 39) Mark McInnes was the CEO of David Jones. He helped turn the company around. All was going well until he overstepped the mark with a twenty-something employee who found his behaviour inappropriate. The board responded, Mark McInnes resigned and overnight he became Australia's very own Tiger Woods.
So what can we learn from the experience? What does it tell you about how we should behave in the workplace? On today's programme I talk to Carol Gill, a psychologist and Program Director for Organisational Leadership at the Melbourne Business School.
What happens if you're the boss, unattached and you find yourself attracted to someone in the workforce? Carol says the boundary is very clear.
Think about Mark McInnes and Tiger Woods, then look at how you behave at work. Could you be next?
