10 Ways to Sharpen Your Presentations | BTalk
(Episode 448; 18 minutes 22) US business columnist and TV/Radio commentator Paul Hellman from Express Potential joins me on today's BTalk to talk about presentation techniques. He has 10 golden rules to follow to improve your presentation skills which he talks through on the programme:
- 1. Practice
- 2. Answer six questions about your audience
- 3. Be concise
- 4. Get the opening right
- 5. Review your slides
- 6. Use stories
- 7. Project confidence
- 8. Anticipate tough questions
- 9. Use variety
- 10. Know your strengths and weaknesses
It's worth spending 20 minutes to hear these points explained in more detail and to hear my Winston Churchill impression.
Feel free to add your own tips in the comments section at the bottom of this post.
