Green Star Buildings | BTalk Australia
(Episode 286; 14 minutes 04) Green buildings are not just good for the environment, they're also good for your staff, productivity and for your budget. That's the view of Romilly Madew, the chief executive of the Green Building Council of Australia. In today's BTalk Australia she says there are many reasons to build a green building, including minimising the risk of non-compliance with increasing government regulation on environmental sustainability.
So what is a green building? How do you spot one? Why should you build or occupy one? The Green Building Council has issued a green star rating to more than 400 buildings in Australia and published a report to support the business case for green buildings.
