Building a Successful Facebook Application | BTalk Australia

(MoneyWatch)  (Episode 281: 13min 02) Many businesses are now building Facebook applications to reach thousands, sometimes millions, of social networking users. It's an excellent example of how viral marketing can replace traditional advertising, so long as it's done well. You need to create applications that people want to use and pass on to friends.

So how do you design an applications that's cool? That's the subject of research by Rebekah Russell-Bennett and Larry Neale from the Queensland University of Technology. In today's BTalk Australia Phil Dobbie asks Dr. Larry Neale for the secret of building a successful Facebook application.
