Networking the Old-Fashioned Way | BTalk Australia
(Episode 257; 13min 52) How did people network before Facebook and Linked-in? They were forced into network events, where people who don't know each other shift uncomfortably on their feet whilst making small talk and glancing regularly at their watches.
Yet, face to face meetings are still the most effective way of forming relationships. Today on BTalk Australia Phil Dobbie talks to Steve Herzberg from NRG Solutions, who offers useful advice on how to get the most from networking functions.
If you've got more advice to contribute feel free to add it to the Talkback section at the end of this post.
