Tell 'Em the Real Price | BTalk Australia

(Episode 236: 12min 23) "Tell 'Em the Price Son" is the catch cry of Little Do'er Carpets in Sydney. It's one of those advertising slogans which sticks in the mind. The big question now is, "is the price a real one?"

Did you know that there are significant changes to the Trade Practices Act from 25th May this year? The changes can have a big impact on how you advertise the price of your product.

Murray Deakin from commercial law firm Middletons believes many advertisers may be unaware of the significance of these changes. In today's BTalk Phil Dobbie asks him to explain circumstances where companies will need to change their approach to comply with the letter of the law.
