Technology Can Help the Environment | BTalk Australia
(Episode 233: 17min 10) Earlier this month Telstra and the WWF-Australia launched a white paper highlighting how Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can contribute to environmental sustainability. It provides some practical ways for a business to reduce their carbon footprint, in readiness for the proposed Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme.
In today's BTalk Australia Phil Dobbie talks to Greg Bourne, CEO of the WWF, and Hugh Saddington, Telstra's Group Manager for Strategy & Business Development. Are businesses becoming more environmentally savvy? What are the specific ways that ICT can help the environment?
