Netlist sues Google -- Netlist filed suit against Google (GOOG) for allegedly infringing a patent with its servers. [Source: Barron's Tech Trader Daily]
Apple appeals patent suit loss -- After losing a $21.7 million judgment to OPTi in a patent infringement case, Apple filed an appeal. And the sun rose in the east this morning. [Source: Ars Technica]
Apple countersues Nokia -- Apple is suing Nokia for patent infringement, countering a patent infringement suit that the latter brought against the former back in October. [Source: AppleInsider]
FCC considers mandatory broadband pipe sharing -- The Federal Communications Commission is considering a Harvard study recommending that Internet service providers share their broadband lines with rivals. [Source: WSJ Digits]
Palm and Sprint Nextel sued by user -- Showing that Apple and AT&T aren't the only combination handset vendor and carrier to displease at least some users, a consumer has brought suit, alleging that the companies caused him to lose data from his phone.
