Boston's WHDH to NBC: Actually, Jay Leno Rocks!
(MoneyWatch) In case you haven't read it yet, here's the hilarious capitulation by WHDH Boston general manager Ed Ansin, who, earlier this month, claimed his station, an NBC affiliate, would not run Jay Leno's coming 10 p.m. weeknight series. (NBC then threatened to pull the station's affiliation):

"Upon further consideration we have decided to telecast Jay Leno at 10 p.m. starting in September. Jay is from Andover where I went to school. I enjoy his humor."Remember, this is the same guy, who, less than two weeks ago, declared:
"We don't think the Leno show is going to be effective in prime time. It will be detrimental to our 11 o'clock [newscast]. It will be very adverse to our finances."I have nothing to add.
