Tiger Woods Cursed by BBDO's Gillette Ad?
(MoneyWatch) Has BBDO cursed Tiger Woods, Thierry Henry and Roger Federer by using them in its ads for Gillette?
That's the argument made by The London Times. Woods' life has become a punchline following his adulterous-sex-car-crash-golfclub scandal.
Henry is Public Enemy No. 1 in Ireland after he handballed a goal in a crucial match between France and Ireland. The goal evicted Ireland from the World Cup and sent France in their place. Thierry admitted cheating later.
And Federer lost the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. (Which, as the Times admits, isn't really evidence of a curse.)
Perhaps Gillette's blade of doom still hangs over Federer's head? Watch the skies!
