Staying on the Job: Older Workers and Stock Market Returns

It's an interesting correlation, but it's hard to tell if the relationship is causal (e.g. it could be the bad economy more generally that is causing low stock market returns and high participation rates rather than the returns themselves being the key causal factor behind changes in particpation).
