Media Roundup: CBS/Turner Olympic Bid, Facebook Growing Fast, And More
(MoneyWatch) CBS and Turner to bid for Olympics -- Executives from both media companies have discussed joining forces to bid for broadcast rights to the 2014 and 2016 Olympic games. The International Olympic Committee also announced that they will postpone the bidding because of the current state of the economy. NBC has owned the rights to every Olympics broadcast this decade.
