Mini Mario Orchestra pays tribute to video games with a music medley
(CBS News) Do you have a love of gaming like your blogger here? Do you remember the thrill of beating Chaos in Final Fantasy, destroying Alduin in Skyrim and just about everything in-between in terms of both classic and modern RPG games? Then have I got just the thing for you! Check out a symphony (with a twist) perform a compilation of music entitled "Epic RPG Medley". It's a bit long (11.5 minutes), so feel free to bounce around or, even better, listen to the compilation in full.
The wonderful orchestral tribute to video games was performed by (aptly-named) The Mini Mario Orchestra and arranged by Diwa de Leon who writes about the inspiration:
Covering a wide range of video games, including many from The Final Fantasy series, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect and more, this wonderful homage to gaming has without a doubt earned a big triple-rainbow salute of adoration from all of us here at The Feed! And if you'd like to check out more music from Diwa de Leon, you can visit his website by clicking here.I've wanted to make a really grand RPG medley for a while but I wanted to present it in a unique and epic way, thus the MINI MARIO ORCHESTRA was born!
