Gotye covers Gotye in amazingly meta music project
(CBS News) So it turns out that Gotye's hit song "Somebody That I Used To Know" is so addictive that even Gotye can't help but get into the whole cover craziness that has occurred on the Internet over the past year. Yeah, you really need to make sure and check this one out.
The amazing symphony of sound is entitled "Somebodies: A YouTube Orchestra" and was posted by Gotye himself who writes:

[Thank you] to everyone who has responded to Somebody That I Used To Know via YouTube. It's truly amazing!
So basically, Gotye is covering other people's covers of Gotye in an immensely meta project that can only be compared to the film "Inception". Wait, which layer of the dream are we in right now? Am I writing this post or is someone making me think I'm writing this post? I'm so confused!
Either way, major props and a big triple-rainbow salute of excellence goes out to Gotye from all of us here at The Feed for this incredible mix of music and recognition of how culturally significant this song has become at this point!
