Stop-motion video captures the beauty of New York City
(CBS News) It's been awhile since I've done a post to honor this large, unique and amazing place I happen to live in: New York City. So let's go ahead and start the week off doing that with this beautiful stop-motion video that will captivate you no matter where you come from or live. Seriously, it's amazing, check it out.
Stunning, right? There's always something so apt about the use of time-lapse when showing New York City because, in my humble opinion, it expresses both the lightning-fast pace of the city while also capturing the beauty of the singular moments and places that make the city great. It like's the philosopher Ferris Bueller once said: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
Or something like that. C'mon, I'm trying to be deep here, people!
The video entitled "The Manhattan Project" was done by Vimeo user Cameron Michael who writes about it:
This time-lapse production has been a wild and exhilarating ride, with a lot of physical work lugging my 120-130 pounds of gear around all of Manhattan. Thank you all for your support and please feel free to help out a starving artist and share this video with the world.
So what do you all say? Should we help out a starving artist and share this video with the world? Obviously I'm going with "yes", since it's up here on The Feed. Your move, audience. Props go out to Cameron for an amazing video that has definitely earned a triple-rainbow salute from us here at The Feed.
