Jacob Sutton brings high-art to snowboarding with L.E.D suit
(CBS) - We like to mix things up here at The Feed, so are going to switch gears a bit to show you a work that is a mixture of high-art and, well, snowboarding. Just watch the video and tell me I'm wrong about the description.
It should come as no surprise that the video, entitled "Glowing Man," has a beautiful aesthetic and artistic bent: the director is one Jacob Sutton, who is also known as an accomplished fashion photographer along with being an astounding filmmaker. The short was done for Nowness who write about it:
Simply spectacular! If you'd like to read more about Jacob Sutton in the Nowness article you can click here or to see more work of Sutton's work you can visit his website here.Fashion photographer and filmmaker Jacob Sutton swaps the studio for the slopes of Tignes in the Rhone-Alpes region of south-eastern France, with a luminous after hours short starring Artec pro snowboarder William Hughes. The electrifying film sees Hughes light up the snow-covered French hills in a bespoke L.E.D.-enveloped suit courtesy of designer and electronics whizz John Spatcher.
