Amazing video shows the making of a wooden lampshade
(CBS) - Sometimes the simplest videos are the best. There's nothing fancy in this clip, just a simple craftsman and a soothing backing track. And you know what? It blew my mind. Hopefully it will impress you, too, as you watch a chunk of wood becomes a unique lampshade.
So were you blown away, too? It has definitely earned itself a triple-rainbow salute from us here at The Feed, but let me know what you thought.
The video was posted by Vimeo user Soren Berger, who is also the person doing the crafting in the video, and was filmed and edited by Rikki Berger. Berger writes about the video:
I am a woodturner/inventor/teacher with 35 years at the lathe, I hope you enjoy a small glimpse into making one of my shades.
