(CBS) - We can all probably do with something nice and uplifting to brighten the day, and that is definitely how I would describe the above video. Watch how an act of kindness can spread amongst people.

The rather touching video with music by Matisyahu is entitled "Kindness Boomerang" and was posted onto YouTube by Life Vest Inside who writes:

Watch as the camera tracks an act of kindness as its passed from one individual to the next and manages to boomerang back to the person who set it into motion. Stand with us in spreading the love and repost our video on your wall! Together we can make a difference!

I'm sure they don't remember this or me. They may not even be alive anymore. But I remember - I'll never forget. I just hope that I have led a life worthy of their kindness. Could someone please tell me how, in a country that has murdered millions more people than Hitler in his holocaust did, in totally bogus, bigoted wars in recent history, a country whose motto in life is "In Greed We Trust," still have produced someone who put this video together? Pure spirituality, with no mention of a blasted God! Now that is an accomplishment!

We've allowed this concept of helping each other to fall by the wayside, and instead we tend to undercut each other. Why did it happen?
