Year-long time-lapse of the sky is wondrous to behold
(CBS) - It's Friday and the weekend is almost here. So before it starts, let's take a moment to relax and watch the sky for a bit in this amazing video above.
Do you feel a relaxing calm now? I know I sure do! The beautiful video was created by YouTube user obeyken who writes about it:
If you'd like to check out more work by obeyken, you can click here to go to his YouTube page. This is a year-long time-lapse study of the sky. A camera installed on the roof of the Exploratorium museum in San Francisco captured an image of the sky every 10 secobnds. From these images, I created a mosaic of time-lapse movies, each showing a single day. The days are arranged in chronological order. My intent was to reveal the patterns of light and weather over the course of a year.
