Jimmy Kimmel helps play cruel but hilarious Halloween prank on kids

(CBS) - It may be a few days since Halloween came and went, but Jimmy Kimmel was able to get in one last "trick" involving a lot of kids' treats from the holiday. Watch and see what happens.

Okay, okay, it's a bit cruel, but... c'mon, tell me you didn't laugh at some of the reactions of those kids. In all fairness, I know I would have definitely reacted the same way if someone stole my candy.

Oops, when I was a kid! I said when I was a kid, right? It's not like I still get dressed up and go trick-or-treating now that I'm an adult or anything... okay, seriously, don't mess with my Halloween candy.

This sophomoric gag to get laughs at the expense of children should be criticized, and stopped before other insensitive and ignorant people start making this an acceptable activity. It says a lot about the parents and as their immature behavior erodes the trust of their family members in exchange for the hope of getting their 15 seconds of fame. These children have enough challenges in the world and adults have a responsibility to make them feel secure and loved - not lied to and deceived.; Reply to this comment

I know this was just a prank, but it also shows how whiny and spoiled your average American kid has become. Responses like calling their parents names, saying they are ugly, or other rude comments, and/or demonstrating violent reactions may be cute when these kids are six or eight years old. Unfortunately they will be having exactly the same type of reactions when they are 17 and are told their assignment grade wasn't good enough, they didn't get picked as homecoming candidates, or have to get a job to help with expenses. I work with kids every day; many of them are good, honest kids who are willing to work hard to get ahead in today's tough times. Far too many, however, are the self-centered, entitlement demanding, lazy and unwilling to work, offspring of parents just like them.

And who makes kids whiny and selfish and cruel and spoiled? They aren't born that way they are created by bad parenting which is what I think is exposed so blatantly in this "hilarious" "prank".Jimmy Kimble needs to keep his cruelty streak in the adult realm and these parents need to think about becoming responsible parents insted of deadbeats who abuse their kids.

My kids wouldn't be surprised if I pulled a trick like that on them. (I wouldn't have done it to my 2 or 3 year old though) Guess some people just don't have a sense of humor. I will await my visit from children's services, only to prove that I'm a pretty good mom and my kids aren't abused in the least. Find something REALLY important to gripe about! Seriously, Goodman, you really need to get yourself into intensive therapy immediately.

You search the internet looking for cruelty, which you then re-post as "funny." Cruelty to animals, to children, to friends...doesn't matter. You find them all hysterically "funny."
