Meet the luckiest squirrel to ever run across a race track

(CBS) - You could go glass is half-full or half-empty on this video. Either this is one of the most unlucky squirrels ever because he's running across a race track with a sports car hurtling at him or one of the luckiest squirrels ever because of the results. Watch, see and decide for yourself.

I'm more of a glass is half-full kind of guy (thus the headline) - either way, that squirrel is very lucky to be alive right now. The caught-on-tape moment occurred at the The Ulitimate Lamborghini Experience 4 and the beautiful and fast car that narrowly missed the little guy is one Lamborghini LP670-4 SV traveling at over 100 MPH.

the squirrel would be crossing at a slight angle if this was real, not in a perfect horizontal line to where the camera is.; Reply to this comment

It sounds (and looks) like the ferret lost a piece of his tail. There's something following the car up the track that looks like the tip of a tail.

Anytime you ride over an animal at that speed it would have rolled over and lost its footing going over it at that speed.
