Talking dog doesn't get any bacon

(CBS) - People develop a close relationship with their pets over time. Sometimes it almost seems like pets can talk. Well, what if a pet could talk? Among other things, they would probably express their disappointment that they didn't get any bacon before you ate it all! This hilarious video captures just such a moment in action.

You would think people might treat a talking dog with a little more respect. But then again, once the novelty wears off, the constant cries of "Maple bacon!" probably get a little tiring. Check out the Talking Animals YouTube channel for more hilarious videos.

by robandjulie August 14, 2011 11:40 AM EDT: This video of this talking pooch is one of the funniest damn things I seen for a long time.I've been meaning to put this on a couple a months back but got busy and forgot about it, since a friend Monty Hill shared this with me and I shared it with friends and family it has became a real hit around here, people just say "THE MAPLE KIND" out of the blue and we have a short laugh.This guy that trained his dog to do this short clip well done my friend, and to all the comments against this funny little pooch, GET A LIFE, AND LEARN HOW TO LAUGH. How thick are some of you? Every single time there is a video on youtube or anywhere else, there are automatically accusations of cruelty - no matter what. It could be a video of someone stroking a cat and they'd say "you are stroking too hard". You are ALL clearly inexperienced with dogs and do_not_have_the_credentials to make the comments you are making. I'm 40 years old and have had dogs with me for all of that time. If you look, the dog is WAGGING its tail. Oh, and 'carol43'...exactly how dumb are you? You do realise that dogs can't talk... yes? THE VIDEO IS NOT REAL and the dog WAS NOT BEING TEASED. It is a guy on Youtube with a channel called 'Talking Animals', and people send him footage of their pets and he puts voices to the videos. I mean I know some of you are American, but even that isn't an excuse of such gullibility.
