(CBS) Hooking up and breaking up.
According to a new study, that's exactly what men are doing with Facebook these days
The study found that 20 percent of guys 20-24 years old use Facebook to hook up, while only 6 percent of the young women surveyed do.
As for breaking up, 24 percent of the guys think it's cool to end it with a change of relationship status and an inbox memo, while only 9 percent of girls have done so.
It can happen to celebrities too. Jesse James reportedly met his mistress, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, via social networking. That didn't turn out well.
The study, conducted by Oxygen Media and Lightspeed Research, questioned 1,605 people. There's more interesting info too - about Facebook dating and addiction.
