(CBS) Jennifer Capriati's spokesperson is calling it an "accidental overdose," but the circumstances surrounding the former tennis star's early morning rush to a Florida hospital remain murky.

Lacey Wickline, told ESPN that the former top-ranked tennis player is recovering after an accident involving prescription medication. She would not say how Capriati was found or who called emergency services.

The 34-year-old is in stable condition and a full recovery is expected, according to the Associated Press.

The tennis pro's father told TMZ.com that his daughter, who used to be called the "Can't Miss Kid", is recovering well.

Capriati earned $1million from tennis before turning 16. She dropped out of the sport in the mid-nineties, then made a championship-winning return in 2002, reports the British paper The Daily Mail

But along with her super girl reputation on the court came a reputation for self-injury through eating disorders, pot, shop-lifting, and depression.

"When I stopped playing, that's when all this came crumbling down," Capriati told the New York Daily News in 2007. "If I don't have [tennis], who am I? What am I? I was just alive because of this. I've had to ask, 'Well, who is Jennifer? What if this is gone now?' I can't live off of this the rest of my life."

I'm just curious.. Didn't she also use illegal drugs also? I wonder what people would say if Serena Williams did drugs like Martina Hingis or Yanina Wickmayer. It would probably be all over the internet, and people would talk about her like a dog!

Don't get me wrong, I love Capriati though, I hope she's ok.

Rosiecee says:
Perhaps her medication was an antidepressant. They induce suicidal feelings in some people

The Physicians Desk Reference states that SSRI antidepressants and all antidepressants can cause mania, psychosis, abnormal thinking, paranoia, hostility, etc. These side effects can also appear during withdrawal. Also, these adverse reactions are not listed as Rare but are listed as either Frequent or Infrequent.

Go to www.SSRIstories.com where there are over 3,900 cases, with the full media article available, involving bizarre murders, suicides, school shootings/incidents [55 of these] and murder-suicides - all of which involve SSRI antidepressants like Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, etc, . The media article usually tells which SSRI antidepressant the perpetrator was taking or had been using
