Bachmann Taps Rollins to Run Campaign

AP Photo/Evan Vucci
As she prepares to enter the race in Iowa later this month, Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has signed on high-profile political strategist Ed Rollins to run her presidential campaign, according to two sources close to Bachmann.

Rollins, who was Mike Huckabee's national campaign director in the 2008 campaign, is an experienced political operative with a well-earned reputation for his tough tactics and willingness to play hardball. He's probably best known for running the 1984 Reagan-Bush reelection campaign, which Reagan won in a landslide.

Rollins will run a campaign that already has a number of experienced advisors on board, including Brett O'Donnell, who advised George W. Bush and John McCain and is considered the best debate coach in politics. Bachmann also has brought on Bob Heckman, who is prominent in the conservative movement.

The gloves are off and the cat fight begins between Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann, the Doublemint Twins of the Tea Party. Neither zealot has officially entered the race yet, but they are already taking jabs at each other through their hired mouth pieces. What is more brilliant than that?

She likes to rewrite history too. Like says our founding fathers worked to end slavery. Thought she was still "deciding", but the story seems to indicate that she's in. One more ticket for the "clown bus" (car is too small now).

PALIN DUMB! BACHMANN DUMB!!

Here's what's funny to me....

401K's languishing.

HIRING DOWN. TEEN UNEMPLOYMENT UP. REGULAR UNEMPLOYMENT UP. DEBT AT RECORD.

Taxes will go up not on the poor, not on the rich. But on the Liberal working professional and in return, you'll have police budgets CUT, your kid's school budgets CUT. You'll have more poverty in the streets of nice neighborhoods.

Your standard of living will decline.

Then, we'll legalize 20 million illegal immigrants and put them all on ObamaCare and guess what? That'll further lower your standard of living.

So while Palin is putting away big bucks.

You will pay the price and suffer.

GOOD!

Obama 2012.

Punish these Liberal Americans. (oh, everything I said IS happening today, or is about to happen. LOL)

I have respect for Ed Rollins, and I have to say that this surprises me. In 2008 he helped Huckabee....which made vastly more sense; This time....huh?

How many airheaded Republicons can we have run for President at the same time? When Bachmann and Palin speak it is actually painful to listen. They make me embarrassed to be an American.
