If you have a coat you'd like to donate to "Early Show" Weather Anchor Dave Price for the "No Way Home" Jacket Drive, Dave would like to personally pick it up on his trek back to New York City. He'll be passing through the following cities Thursday and Friday:

Cincinnati, Ohio
Cincinnati Art Museum 7 a.m.

Columbus, Ohio
The Statehouse, Broad and High St. 1:30 p.m.

Wheeling, W.Va.

by tmorehart November 19, 2010 11:16 AM EST: Although I do not have time to do start a coat drive, my husband and I are trying to teach our 9 year old the appreciation for other people and how precious life is. As a young person my mom and I always took names from the tree and bought outfits and gifts for local kids. I had no idea who they were but I knew they had less than I and I had something to give back and wanted to share what we had as a family. We recently had a Halloween Party and ask that everyone bring something to donate to the local animal shelter. We are just now getting around to dropping off the items this afternoon but the gift no matter how great or small goes unappreciated. Our local Walgreens this year is doing a tree for the elderly people in our community, it is so true often at this time of year everything is geared towards our young people yet animal shelters and the elderly are forgotten. We plan to take several names off the tree and make gift baskets for people that are either shut-ins or are in nursing homes. You don't have to know someone personally to reach out and touch someones life and it can make a huge difference, especially at the holidays which are a lonely depressing time for so many people. I challenge everyone to take advantage of this holiday season whether it be a coat drive, womens shelter, animal shelter or nursing home to give back to your community. We lost 3 family members to a senseless murder 4 years ago in Arizona, you remember so quickly during a tragedy such as this how precious life is. Giving sometimes is the best gift to receive back. GREAT JOB DAVE, you taught my daughter so much this last week and we looked forward to getting up for school each morning to see if you were going to make it home. by donna631 November 19, 2010 9:30 AM EST: Watching Dave all week trying to get home and his drive for coats has inspired me to start a drive at my workplace. I work for a local retailer and have made it my mission to have everyone I work with buy 1 blanket and give it away. So for I have about 20 peolpe who are buying or will buy blankets and will give them to churches, homeless shelters or whoever needs them. Thanks Dave. Without you inspiration I would have just bought them myself but now others will buy them also.; Reply to this comment
