Lindsay Lohan agrees to rehab in plea deal for lying about car crash

/ AP Photo/Damian Dovarganes(CBS) LOS ANGELES - Actress Lindsay Lohan agreed to a plea deal in court Monday to avoid a trial in her misdemeanor lying case stemming from a June 2012 car crash, CBS Los Angeles reports.

The actress agreed to serve 90 days in a locked rehab facility, 30 days of community service and psychotherapy sessions. She was also ordered to pay an unspecified fine.
Lohan was 48 minutes late to court for the scheduled start of her hearing in Los Angeles Monday morning. As she walked in at 9:18 a.m., a spectator threw glitter at her, according to CBS Los Angeles.
Lohan is accused of lying to police officers on June 8, 2012, saying that she was not behind the wheel of her Porsche and that her assistant was driving when the vehicle slammed into the back of a dump truck on the Pacific Coast Highway while on her way to the set of her Lifetime movie, "Liz and Dick."
The actress was already on probation at the time of the crash for taking a $2,500 necklace from a Venice jewelry store in 2011.
