Mardi Gras shooting: Second suspect arrested in New Orleans' Bourbon Street attack

(CBS/AP) NEW ORLEANS - New Orleans police say a second suspect has been arrested in Saturday night's quadruple shooting during Mardi Gras celebrations on Bourbon Street.

The Times-Picayune reports that 22-year-old Brandon Brown turned himself in at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say Brown was booked with four counts of attempted first-degree murder for his part in the shooting, which happened in the middle of Mardi Gras revelry and left four people hospitalized.

Police have also arrested 22-year-old Deron Bridgewater in connection with the shooting. Bridgewater turned himself in to authorities Monday after he saw himself on television.

Police say they're also seeking a person of interest in the case.

For the wages of sin is death ; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. And there is pleasure in sin for a season. And by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil. So as good as sin looks from the outside it causes terrible consequences when the season ends. Just as some of these people are learning now. So it would be far better to fear the Lord, repent of ones sins ad trust in him as personal Saviour,who also is known as the Lord Jesus Christ. Who also came to die to pay the full atonement of mankinds sin on the cross of Calvary,be buried, and rise from the dead the third day, and was seen of men, and returned to heaven.
